This was the bin in the barber’s shop. I ended up looking at the drawing more in this one because the angles were tricky: the bin had curves in it and was in perspective, so a challenge.

A record of my 'picture a day' challenge

I drew this in the barbers whilst waiting for a haircut.
I tried just glancing occassionaly at the paper and adding colour. I like this approach and will try it more often. I’ll see if I can maintain the looseness but get a bit more accurate in the drawing.
Trying to loosen up and sketch without looking at the paper.
I’m behind a little in my sketches so I’m going to do some quick drawings with a fountain pen to catch up.
I’ve got to start doing more complete pictures now, even if do them a bit at a time.
This was fairly easy match. Vermillion was a close match straight off and it just needed a touch of yellow ochre and burnt umber.
Just quick sketches whilst my daughter was doing her ice-skating class. The stiffest, most artificial bits are the ones I made up. It’s hard to see the whole person in an instant, though. Need to practise that.
I might do one or two more, but these are more or less the final ones. The top logo is the parent project logo, whose font and colours I’ve used. The middle row is rejects or variations. The final row is the final designs.
