Starting the ‘Sketch a day’ challenge again. This time here’s a copy of part of a Mattias Adolfsson sketch. He uses fountain pens to draw, apparently. I use mine to draw this but it kept running dry so I had to keep repeating lines. I think you need a better quality fountain pen if you want to create pictures like this. Mine is fine for writing but unreliable when you need lots of even lines.
He’s clearly got a fantastic knowledge of architecture and perspective if he draws these things from the top of his head. I don’t know how he gets his lines so straight and even.
